Plans and limits

Every workspace is on a plan, and the plan decides two things: how much your workspace can hold, and which features are switched on.

Open Organization settings from the switcher at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Plans. You’ll see the plans available to you, and the limits that apply to your workspace right now.

  • Models — how many models the workspace can hold at once. Archived models still count; models in the trash and snapshots don’t.
  • People — how many people your directory can hold, whether or not they currently fill a position. A connected integration’s People Sync counts against this limit the same as anyone added by hand or CSV import — a sync that would add more people than your plan allows is refused in full, and nothing it would have changed is applied.
  • Integrations — how many connected integrations (e.g. an HRIS connection) your workspace can hold at once.

At your model limit, Create Model is disabled, and copying a model or generating sample data is refused for the same reason. The API answers the same way, so a script hits the limit exactly as the app does.

Delete or archive nothing and the limit simply holds: Resorcerer never removes anything of yours to make room.

You can find yourself above a limit without adding anything — moving to a plan with smaller limits is enough. When that happens:

  • Everything you have stays. Nothing is deleted, hidden, or made read-only, and no data is removed when a plan changes.
  • You can’t add more of whatever you’re over on until you’re back under.
  • A notice appears at the top of the page, naming the limit and how far over you are.

The notice reflects where you are right now. Delete back under the limit and it clears, and adding works again — there’s nothing to wait for.

Some capabilities are switched on by your plan rather than counted: the REST API, imports and exports, outgoing webhooks, service accounts, integrations, and enterprise SSO. Where one isn’t part of your plan, the page for it says so and points you at your plan options.

Downgrading off a plan with integrations doesn’t disconnect anything or delete synced people — it pauses scheduled People Sync runs (and the ability to add a new integration) until you’re back on a plan that includes it. For a SCIM connection, this also pauses new provisioning from your identity provider (a plan without integrations refuses SCIM writes) and stops you from generating a new SCIM token — but any token you’ve already generated isn’t deleted, and you can still revoke one at any time regardless of plan. Everything resumes as soon as you’re back on a plan that includes integrations.

Choose a plan from the Plans page and you’ll be taken through checkout. An upgrade applies as soon as it’s paid, so the new limits are live immediately. A downgrade takes effect at the end of the period you’ve already paid for, and until then nothing about your workspace changes.

If you need something the published plans don’t cover, ask us — limits can be set per organization.

  • Models — what a model is, and how archiving and deleting work.
  • Collaborate — the trash, and restoring something you deleted.
  • APIs — the REST and MCP surfaces.
  • Integrations — connecting an upstream system and keeping people in sync.
